Executive Director
Matthew Gagnon is the executive director at Solstice Senior Living at Bangor. Matthew has worked here since July 2017. Prior to working in senior living communities, Matthew worked in the hospitality industry, striving to always make the best possible experience for any guest. As an executive director, he is responsible for managing all community operations, fostering local relationships, and overseeing the successful Elevate® and Vibrant Life® programs. His passion is creating an environment for all seniors to thrive.
Beverly Austin
Director of Sales and Marketing
Beverly Austin is the director of Sales and Marketing for Solstice Senior Living at Bangor. Prior to joining the team, Beverly worked for The Red Cross. She has a strong background in both sales and the health care industry. Beverly lives in Bangor with her family and her black Lab, Henry.

Culinary Services Director
Cameron McElroy joined the Solstice Senior Living at Bangor team in November 2021.
Cameron discovered his passion for cooking at an early age, learning the tools of the trade from his grandmother. His goal is to always provide high-quality meals that are sure to make even the pickiest eater happy. Cameron loves bringing joy to residents through “made-from-scratch” meals and incorporating his favorite family recipes into their culinary experiences.
Cameron is a Windham, Maine, native and currently resides in Hampden with his wife and their three cats and two bearded dragons.
Amy White
Business Office Director
Amy White has enjoyed working at Solstice Senior Living at Bangor since 2002, when she moved to Maine from New Hampshire. She has decades of experience working with seniors. She spent 17 years as head housekeeper, and then she moved into the business office position. Amy has always enjoyed sharing a smile or a good laugh to brighten a resident’s day.
Jeff Tibbetts
Building Services Director
Jeff Tibbetts is the building services director at Solstice Senior Living at Bangor. Jeff has an extensive background in construction, electrical, plumbing and masonry. He also worked as a contractor for several years, owning and operating two companies. Jeff grew up in Garland, Maine, on a small dairy farm. He currently resides in Winterport, Maine, with his girlfriend and their two cats. He is the proud father of three children (two girls and one boy) and has been blessed with four grandchildren (one granddaughter and three grandsons). When Jeff is not at work, he enjoys spending time up in northern Maine camping, fishing and hunting.
